Happy New Year from Coding Grace
Happy New Year!!!
As days get longer, we are looking forward to what 2017 might bring, like more workshops and collaborations.
We would like to thank everyone who have been so supportive this year, to all our hosts, mentors, and especially you, who participated in our workshops. So much has happened even though we didn't run as many workshops, and I thank everyone from the bottom of my heart.
From Diversity in Games talks & a pilot programme to family-friendly fun at Inspirefest's Fringe Festival to intimate chat about the coding community as part of the Liquor Room's Salon Series and we were even part of a published paper!
We have had our first Coding Grace workshops in Limerick (Kevin O'Brien) and Wexford (Zita) in 2016, so please lend your support to them in 2017.
We were part of a community techie table quiz and lots of fun and laughter, and we raised money for Dublin Simon Community.

What does it mean to be an "ally"? Why do we need them? We'll provide an overview of the principles of feminism and offer practical steps that can be taken to curb unconscious bias and be effective allies to women in the workplace.
