Coding Grace Apr 2017 Newsletter & Upcoming events
Easter month, and spring is nearly over, and exciting things are happening.
Coding Grace Wexford are running monthly beginner-friendly HTML5 workshops, their next one is on Monday April 24th, see their Facebook event page for more information.
A huge thanks to Kevin O'Brien (mentor) and Eoin Kelly (Microsoft Ireland) for hosting our beginners R workshop recently. Look out for more data workshops from us in the near future.
On Tue Mar 14, I was invited to speak at TCD's “Women in Engineering & Computer Science” event alongside Carol O'Sullivan from Disney & TCD, Catriona Lally from Biomedical Engineering and Bidesh Ghosh from Civil Engineering, and it was a full house. It was great to share my experiences about the community groups I'm involved with.
Coding Grace (and PyLadies Dublin) were delighted to be part of #weAREhere Careers in Tech Panel at Science Gallery recently. Great insight and experiences shared by the panelists: Christina Lynch (moderator), Elizabeth Murphy, Sorcha Bowler, Sarah Doran, Ingrid Epure.
