"Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble."

It's Halloween, we think of pumpkin pies, fireworks, bonfires and scary movies, but this month is jam packed with so lots of events in Dublin and around Ireland, which makes it spooktacularly exciting.
With so many collaborations recently (and upcoming ones), I'm winding down and planning for 2019 already!

September was a busy month. Mick and I went to Sligo to mentor a beginner's female-friendly Django workshop (Sat Sep 8) and we brought along the Pi-Tops as backup, which was super handy. It was based on Django Girls Tutorial. Big thanks to Lucia from Overstock who organised it and for The Building Block who kindly hosted it. If people want us to run Django workshops, or other Python-related frameworks, let us know.

This was followed by the Diversity in Data Workshop (Sat Sep 22) where we collaborated with Ireland Girl Geek Dinners, Her+Data, kx Community, PyLadies Dublin, R Ladies Dublin, Women in Tech Africa and Women Who Code Dublin hosted by Talent Garden. Here's my write-up of the day >>>
