Coding Grace November 2019 Newsletter

Novembrrrr Newsletter

Now that we have adjusted to the hour change (maybe for the last time 🤔), it doesn't stop a lot of amazing events happening this month.

I'm delighted to shout out to Lucia from Overstock and the ever so awesome Irene Yeriskin who will be running a Vue Vixen Workshop in Sligo this Saturday, and Coding Grace is a community partner for this event. Best of luck, it's great to see so much support for events like this in the west. They invited us to run DjangoGirls Workshop last October and was wonderful to connect with the community over there.

I really enjoyed StartupWeek Dublin last month (Oct 21-25). I was their Maker Track Captain, and worked with DCC and DCC Libraries to bring along the Maker Van to Civic Offices on Wood Quay where there was 3D printing demos, and I got to check out a 3-in-1 3D printing/CNC/laser cutting machine! 😲

PARTNERSHIPS

We are delighted to partner with the following organisations. Some discounts for our network, so check them out. If you want to partner with us, send an email to contact@codinggrace.com.

We are delighted to be DevOpsDays Galway community partner.
They are super awesome and offering our members 50% Discount on their tickets.
Plus they gave us FOUR FREE TICKETS to give away, it's first-come-first-serve. Just email us and we will be in touch. Good luck!

The annual Techie Table Quiz is back and we are raising money for Dublin Simon Community hosted by Workday and food sponsored by Vectra.ai. We have Swrve on board sponsoring prizes, and more to be announced! Plus huge thanks to all our community partners! It's free to participate, lots of fun and all for a good cause. We are still seeking sponsors for prizes, if you can help, email irishgeeks@eventgeek.ie.
