We had our first Raspberry Pi workshop, and it was booked out so quickly. If you have not seen what we have been up to, check out the blog here and here.

I know many of you were on the waiting list, we will be running another Pi workshop in Q2 (April, May or June) and will be hosted by the awesome folks at Facebook Dublin. So details to follow hopefully in the next newsletter.

More exciting news... We have a venue for the next few months provided by the awesome folks at Pulse College.

INTRODUCTION TO R

Introduction to R returns with Rachael McBride as our mentor with some guest(s) to help and show what can be done with R.

INTRODUCTION TO PYTHON (MULTI-PART)

We have done two parts of our introduction to Python, and that was really fun for us to run, and had great feedback so far from those who attended it. We will run at least two to three more in this Intro to Python series.

I'll be running PART 3 twice, once on a Monday evening and the other on a Saturday morning.

I am happy to announce our first Ruby workshop for beginners.

Stephen Howell (of Kinect2Scratch fame) will be our mentor for this introductory workshop to creative coding.

GAME ART WORKSHOP

I'm delighted to announce that Pete McNally (Havok) will be our Game Art mentor. We are working on the content at the moment, and this will aim at people with an art background and wish to apply it in a gaming environment.
