July issue of Coding Grace
It's the 1st of July! Past halfway through the year, and we have many more exciting workshops and events being planned.
If you don't know by now, I have re-launched CodingGrace.com. If you are curious, it's written in Django (a Python framework) and hosted on Heroku.
We are open to people hosting local chapters in their area, so do get in touch if you are interested.

Introduction to PyGame
Saturday 5th July (11:00 - 16:00)

Level: Beginners
Learn how to use Python and pyGame to create a simple 2D motoring racing game.
You'll need to bring your laptop with Python and PyGame installed. Instructions on events page.
Tickets: €20 (also includes lunch)
Introduction to F# with Phil Trelford
Saturday 12th July (11:00 - 16:00)
Venue: Microsoft Ireland, Sandyford
Level: Beginners
The goal of this session is to use F# and sample data from Kaggle to predict who lives and who dies on the Titanic!
No prior knowledge of machine learning or F# is required.
You'll need
- a laptop
- some setup work is required before the workshop

RoboCode (Java)
Saturday 26th July (11:00 - 16:00)
Venue: Adverts.ie, Dublin 2
Level: Beginners
Come join us for a few hours of virtual robot wars and learn how to control your robot tank with Robocode.
Robocode is a programming game, and participants will be guided through writing an AI for their own robot in Java.
At the end of the class participants will get the chance to play their robots in an arena against peers!
You will need to bring your laptop with RoboCode installed.
