I was so happy to see GameCraft back again, and we were invited by Douglas Street Campus this year in Cork, and it was a fun Cork GameCraft. Even on a mid-term, students and friends came to the game jam, the theme was "OUT OF PLACE".

Some of the games produced can be found at https://itch.io/jam/cork-gamecraft-2024. Well done to the students who won People's Choice, it was their first time taking part. Here's to more game jams. ๐Ÿ™Œ
Want to run a game jam, or a DIY game controller workshop in your local area? Drop an email to info@gamecraft.it.

Recently I attended WITS Ireland's Mary Mulvihill lecture recently who's guest of honour was the amazing Marion Palmer, who always guided me when I was with the committee and normal member. She listened and gave formidable advice, and it was fantastic to catch up with journalist Maria Delaney who was the keynote speaker with UCD President, Orla Feely, opening the event.
