As you may or may not know about the sad news recently about Women Who Code shutting down. As a past Women Who Code Dublin Director and now ex-Legacy Leader, I've joined many women who have benefitted either being involved or attending their initiatives.
After more than a decade of empowering diverse women to excel in technology careers, we are announcing the difficult decision to close Women Who Code. So much has been accomplished, but our mission is not complete.

BUT... the community rallied together straight away with independent slack and discord servers setup to make sure their communities in local chapters are safe. 💪 As of writing, a new rebirth of this community from lots of hard work has been created called – W.E. Tech (Women Everywhere in Tech). They are preparing to publicly open their server, I'll be sharing about it, so watch this space.
What about the Dublin chapter? Well, some amazing news, the wonderful Beth (formerly WWCode Belfast) has created an all-island group to combine ex-WWCode Belfast and Dublin chapters via this new meetup group. We hope that we don't lose WWCode members and also gain new faces. If you want to get involved, contact the team there.
Speaking of community, TechFoundHer Boot Camp recently tool place at the historic location - Dublin City Hall. Huge thanks to everyone involved, the speakers, attendees, what a day to remember!
I've just about recovered, but more events are coming to both in Belfast and Dublin. See both events below, there's still time to register.
So it's been a busy couple of months, and for those who are busy, here's a recommendation from Elaine Burke if you feel you are burning out with this masterclass.
