Coding Grace's May/Jun Newsletter

🌻 It’s late into May already! And we are still stoked about our recent collaboration with TechFoundHer Bootcamp. Check out this issue for events and opportunities.

Coding Grace's May/Jun Newsletter

🤛🟢🟢😆🟢🟢🤜 I might be disappointed that Käärijä - Cha Cha Cha didn’t win at Eurovision, but I am still buzzing about our recent collaboration with TechFoundHer Bootcamp which took place at The Mansion House earlier this month to support female founders with no tech backgrounds to demystify tech and its jargon, leading tech teams, and use tech knowledge as your advantage.

🤳 We are still on birdsite, but here’s a reminder that we are also on mastodon.ie/@codinggrace

💖 A big thanks to Máirín Murray for collaborating and to everyone in the community from attendees, volunteers, champions, mentors, sponsors and many more, for realising this idea we had over coffee last autumn. TechFoundHer Bootcamp was attended by over 200 female founders at the Mansion House on Tue May 2nd. A huuuuuge thank you!

📸 You can find photos shared by the community via the community photo album, if you were there, we welcome more memories of the day.

💪 Keep an eye out on future collaborations Coding Grace will have with TechFoundHer, as the dust settles we will be doing more events from all the helpful and amazing attendee feedback.

📢 On a related note, Dogpatch Labs have an upcoming event to match talent to startups, it’s a call to action to “[…] all software engineers, data analysts, full stack developers, UI/UX experts, marketing gurus, sales experts, operations specialists, and anyone interested in tech startups!”

It’s part of their Women Entrepreneurs Network events. More details »

🎧 Need tips on community building tools? Megan Slater, a community Manager for CTO Craft, a business that has grown out of a community. Megan knows her stuff; and you can too.

🎞️ And check out Dublin Tech Talks podcast with Inclusio’s CEO and Founder, Sandra Healy. She has been tremendous support to my community work, and listen to her chat about Inclusio two years on from her initial appearance on Dublin Tech Talks.

Don’t forget that entries are open for Diversity in Tech Awards and deadline is 16 June. More details here»
