It was sad to hear Her+Data winding down late last month, but we all grow and bloom from where seeds are planted, so huge thanks to Karen Church and her team for all the work to make their events inclusive and safe for the data community, and best of luck to her new endeavours.
And this leads on to the month of March, as UN's International Women's Day is on March 8th, these events are even more meaningful and important for everyone around the world. The theme from UN's IWD 2025 is:

Topics talk related to Apple or mobile development are welcome including:
- SwiftUI App Architectures: It can be a broad comparison of popular approaches or a deep dive into one specific pattern. I'd especially love to hear a talk on TCA.
- VisionOS Development: It might not be as hot as last year, but it would be amazing if someone could bring a device to show it off.
- AI Tools for iOS Development: With Apple recently open-sourcing Swift Build, this could really boost third-party IDE support for native Apple development.
- Cross-Platform Apps with Kotlin Multiplatform: KMP has been around for a while, and it seems the adoption is growing. It'd be great to see it in action
- App Development Stories: My personal favourite - real-life experiences about building apps.
- Your Ideas: Got another interesting topic? Whether it’s technical or inspirational, suggestions welcomed.

📢 Call for Female-Led Irish Businesses
We're creating the KELLA Directory because there's a critical visibility gap for female-led businesses in Ireland. While 64% of Irish consumers want to support women-led businesses, 82% cannot name more than three in Ireland. The directory will serve as a centralised resource that connects consumers and businesses directly with women entrepreneurs across all sectors.
