Coding Grace July Newsletter & Upcoming events
The height of summer...
There's still time to have more BBQs, shoo the rain away, and even more time to check out what tech events are happening around the country.
Last month I wrapped up with Dogpatch Labs to concentrate on doing more stuff with Coding Grace, and I am so excited to get back to organising awesome workshops for everyone.
I attended Pride, had an amazing time at an Irish Games Community retreat called Inis Spraoi at Inishbofin, was wowed by Coder Dojo's Coolest Projects at RDS this year, and we ran our beginners Python workshop earlier this week.
Last month I announced Coding Grace's involvement with Network in Play's Diversity in Games research project. We are currently finalising mentors for a series of three workshops for August which covers:
- Board Game Design
- Interactive Design
- Fungus with Unity
These are all beginner-friendly, and if you have an interest in learning about making games, stay tuned.
