Hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather. A lot has happened the past couple of months, and there's great news & events coming up from the community. Here we go! ๐
๐ฆ DjangoCon Europe was in Dublin and I couldn't let that opportunity go since they are in town and all, helping out in their Code of Conduct team (it was my first time screening all talks and lightning talks, something that other conference organisers should consider, the extra work was worth it).
โจ I organised DjangoGirls Dublin workshop hosted by DjangoCon Europe which was attended by nearly 20 people (participants and coaches) during their sprints weekend, the community pulled together jumping in with extra helping hands when we were short, and organisers checked in to make sure we took our breaks and are ok through out the day. It made running the workshop even more inclusive for everyone all round.

โค๏ธ It was exciting to see the launch of the official UCD archive of WITS Ireland, 35 years of artefacts that are carefully archived and documented by UCD archivists. Meeting current and past luminaries regaling stories and the history of WITS over tea and coffee, the time slipped by so fast. It's great to hear that WITS Ireland will be planning more coffee mornings to discuss their archival progress.
๐ If anyone has anything like newsletters, clippings, photos of WITS Ireland's past, please send them to info@witsireland.com.

๐ซ Tea and coffee socials are certainly popular! PyLadies Dublin had a tea & coffee social at KC Peaches upstairs on Dame Street last month and it was packed. So back with popular demand, PyLadies Dublin tea & coffee social is back on Sat May 10th. See you all there, no experience of Python required.

๐ We are also delighted to be a Community Partner of TechFoundHer again this year. The TechFoundHer Summit is back again at The Round Room on Wed May 14th. And a double-surprise is Show Her the Money is back in Dublin, it will be screened at the end of the summit, and it's included in the ticket.

๐ More good news! Dublin Maker is back and it will be a new location this year, Leopardstown Racecourse. It will take place on Aug 30 - 31, the festival is free bringing together and celebrating makers, crafters, coders and inventors from all over Ireland. Their Open Call for Makers is open right now! Get your crafty hats on and submit your project!

๐ For our long time supporters and those who contributed recently, thank you on behalf of the team.
๐ If you want to be involved with Coding Grace, there are different ways from offering to mentoring ๐งโ๐ซ, collaborating ๐ค, help spreading the word about us ๐ฌ, and financial contributions ๐คฒ.
๐ And a huge thanks to our regular Open Collective contributors ๐
